The 3rd annual CARS Protection Plus 660 Top Bulb Nationals results are below. The KRP track crew worked tirelessly to deal with Friday's rain, getting into round 2 before the rain parked in for the remainder of the day and night, and into Saturday morning. Once the rain finished, the racing was nonstop. Saturday's race started the action, then Friday's was completed after. 9 rounds of Saturday's race, plus almost 7 complete rounds of Friday's race were finished in 12 hours, crowning two $10,000 winners. Sunday was chamber of commerce weather, allowing the race to run smoothly. Thank you to all who made the trip, for your patience and support, and huge thank you to the KRP crew for all your efforts.

5th Annual GobbleFest results, Saturday, November 19 2016:

GobbleFest is a daily driver, slow index race. The rain and win made it a switch to 1/8 mile, really adding to the challenge.

Race 1, 26.78, .500 bracket tree:

R/U - Nick Bowman, .0925 reaction time, 26.7347, 10.84mph

2 former Modified class champions meet up in the final, using similar techniques. Mike, with junior dragster champ Kyle Penn as his co-pilot, and Nick, both in Jeeps, drives to the first stripe at the 1/8 mile, do their countdowns, and then go for the finish line. Nick grabs .1119 at the stripe, but he dips under the index.

Another match up of class champions, multiple times for each driver. Scotty, with wife Amber, drives to the first stripe. He takes 8 tenths, needed to take 5 and 1/2, and the win goes to the Campbells. That puts a wrap on the 2016 season.

Ghosts, Goblins, and Gearheads 2016 results:

Friday was rained out, and the purse rolled over to Satuday and Sunday, making it $2500 to win. Round 1 of Saturday's race finished at 1:15am, and racing was halted until Sunday at 9am. The rest of Saturday's race and all of Sunday were completed by 7pm. Great job by the KRP staff in getting over 300 cars in each race completed, and great job by the racers for their patience and cooperation.
